Timings for the main events during the day are as follows:

Garth School Day (Lower School)

 8.50 a.m. – 9.30 a.m.       School starts – Attendance / dinner registers completed,         

                                          welcome and morning routines in class groups. 

 9.30 a.m. – 10.25 a.m.      Lesson 1 and Snack                                          

10.25 a.m. – 10.40 a.m.     Playtime 

10.40 a.m. – 12.00 p.m.     Toileting and Lesson 2 

12.00 p.m. – 12.30 p.m.     Lunchtime 

12.40 p.m. – 1.15 p.m.       Playtime

1.15 p.m. – 2.45 p.m.         Lessons 3 and 4 

1.45 p.m. – 2.15 p.m.         (Friday) Whole School Well Done Assembly  

2.45 p.m. – 3.10 p.m.         Toileting and End of School Day, Class Assemblies and

                                           Routines.

School Uniform

Pupils are expected to be in correct school uniform with no trainers. If a pupil has a problem with uniform please contact the school administrator in the first instance.

Communication

Communication is essential for the smooth daily running of the school and effective home/school communication links. Parents and staff utilise the home school diaries to ensure messages and information are easily shared.

Illness

If your child is not well enough to attend school, please phone the school (01775 725566) and leave a message. Please note that if a pupil is sick or has an upset stomach, they should remain at home for 48 hours after the last time they were sick.
